The project

Warm Minimalism

A compact rental, tuned to the sea.

A small apartment in Varna, Briz district, for short-term rental. A minimalist interior of pale oak, fluted timber and quiet furniture turned to the water, so the rooms carry a sense of the sea without illustrating it.

The laundry holds a wardrobe and a place for suitcases, so travellers can live lightly in a tight plan. The bathroom is pale stone with a black basin; the entry stays almost empty.

Living

The sea is the other wall.

A pale corner sofa, ring lighting and a bonsai sit against the water. Fluted timber and a quiet television wall keep the room still; the kitchen island is the other edge of the same room.

Bedroom

Slats, a low bed, the same view.

A fluted timber wall behind the bed, thin pendants and an abstract print keep the bedroom in the same pale register. The balcony opens the room to the bay; a mirrored slat and a narrow work ledge take the rest.

Bathroom and laundry

Service for a short stay.

The bathroom is pale stone, a black basin and concealed light. The laundry gathers a machine, hanging and suitcases in one niche, a place for travellers that does not take a room. The entry stays almost empty: hooks, a mirror, a timber floor.
